.:|Restaurant Review 9 - Clem’s BBQ|:.
This past weekend for team C.A.R.N.E. it was Road Trip Time!!!
We headed to a glorious place up in the mountains of State College to a place called Port Matilda. It was quite a trek but as with any road trip the drive was half the fun(we also made a quick detour for the PSU Creamery. yummm!!!!
And oh yes the food was definitely worth trip!!!!! Check out the ratings below

Oh, Clems! It was TOTALLY worth all the hype…and the driving. It was the absolute best pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had. The pulled pork was delicious and the sauce was to die for. (shhhh, the secret really is in the sauce…)
The value is great, the service is adequate, the menu selection is fair (given that it is essentially just a shack on the side of the road). Admittedly, the first appearance is a surprise (really? THIS is where we are eating?) but as you walk under the awning and see the maps on the “walls” with hundreds of pushpins in them showing where Clem’s customers are from - you fall in love with the idea of such a place, how famous it has become - and then you eat your food and you understand why people LOVE Clem’s.
Thanks to Arif and Adam for sharing the vision and making it a reality.
*And what an added bonus to end the meal with some famous Penn State Creamery ice cream!*
