.:|Happy 10th Birthday MP3 Players!!!|:.

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

That’s right today is the 10 year that MP3 players have been around. The first one started out with only having 32MB (basically enough for 8 songs) of space and costing around 250 bones!!! Check here for more information about this precursor to your iPod/Zune.

As much I was trying to pull away I was overwhelmed by the urge and could not resist…

I became that guy you know the one who owns a fake guitar and plays notes on his TV (not to mention while head banging and “trying” to sing along).  GHIII in all it’s glory is definitely one of the most interactive and entertaining games ever to hit the console market.  It allows you to not only listen to awesome music but also to pretend like you have the ability to play it.  So, for everyone else out there (all three people who check out this site regularly…) my advice to you would be to stop resisting, drop a benjamin, give into the urge and enter into the vast world of GHIII!!!

What are you waiting for???  Even Chuck plays!!!

Then you know all the chaos that has been going on with Live since Christmas.  Well it looks like MS has decided to give reimburse us for our lost time. They are offering a free download of “Undertow” because of the down time.  Once again MS proving they really aren’t all that bad of a company.

.:|Calling all Gmail users|:.

Thursday, January 10th, 2008

So we all know that gmail is the best web-based email solution.  But there are definitely a few ways to make it better.

For example:
The annoying factor that there is no way to access the address book from within the compose screen without switching the focus to a new window.
OR
The fact that you cannot have subfolders within folders.
OR
A more stream-lined integration of google calendar and google chat.

As I was getting my daily fill over at lifehacker.com I found out about some awesome gmail scripts for Greasemonkey.   You should definitely check them out.  Sorry yahoo peeps, maybe someday it will benefit you to have a @yahoo.com address…

.:|Poor little xBox.:|

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

So, I was checking out Engadget today, which provides me with my daily fill of technology nerdness, and I was glancing over the articles and found a post about this store who accepted a return on an xBox 360.  So, you are probably thinking what’s the big deal about that?  The crazy thing is that whoever accepted the return at the customer service desk did not check to make sure all the component were  there and just gave the customer their money back.  Then later that day an employee opened the xBox box that was returned and found that the xBox was completely stripped and was stuffed with a Nursing book (I guess those Nurses can get a little crazy).  Check out the Pic!!! Not sure what someone is going to do with all the components for an xbox without the case…
